The Left Hand of Darkness, 2016
Two-channel HD video (color, sound; 2:15 minutes).

Re-examining whatever intimacy is possible within the realm of our digital relationships, this piece questions the complexity of love in a metaphysical world, and brings to life the war of affection that occurs between two profiles as they somberly combine and deconstruct in the name of self-exploration. Whether it’s the search of the fabled, soul mate, or merely rending apart one’s private being to find the perfect counterpart hidden inside. Questioning the nature of artificiality by bringing focus to what is used to fill empty spaces, be it a potted plant in an urban home, or an-other wise unneeded personality filling the void of one’s virtual world.
