About
Rocío Delaloye is an artist working across moving image, installation, and digital environments. Her practice explores how constructed realities shape the ways we perceive, experience, and relate to the world. Through simulation, image-making, and spatial interventions, she creates environments and situations that question what we recognize as natural, familiar, or real, examining how artificial worlds influence our expectations, desires, and ways of inhabiting space.
Born in Argentina and based in New York, Delaloye holds an MFA in Digital + Media from Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA from Universidad Nacional de La Plata. She was an AIM Fellow at the Bronx Museum of the Arts and participated in NYFA’s Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program. Her work has been exhibited at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, RISD Museum, Centro Cultural FIESP, Boston Cyberarts, and Ford Foundation Live Gallery, among others.
