Indoor Horizon
2026 · CGI video, color and sound · 3 min 30 sec
Indoor Horizon imagines a near future in which the conditions that sustain life have become privately managed services. Sunlight, breathable air, seasonal warmth, and access to nature are no longer shared conditions, but controlled experiences, measured, packaged, and sold.
Moving through a series of climate-controlled interiors, the work presents environments that appear calm, seamless, and self-contained. Beneath this surface lies an infrastructure of extraction, computation, energy, and labor that remains largely out of view.
Through CGI and speculative world-building, Indoor Horizon examines how systems designed to protect us from environmental instability may also reproduce existing inequalities. The work asks what happens when adaptation becomes a luxury, and when even the atmosphere itself becomes something that can be owned.
